How've ya been?

Us? We've been great! Things are really looking up around our way.

~Melen just got a promotion and a raise that brought him up to his goal salary and position, so he's super-duper happy (as well as super-duper busy ). We're working on deciding what his new goals are going to be. I think one should be finding a studio space he can rent. What do you guys think?

I'm getting paid to write! It's not much but it's for a magazine involved in something that's really, really important to me. It's totally my dream job. Fer realz. And I'm having a blast with it.

The club's moving along nicely. We're up to 594 members! That's only six away from 600! Awesomesauce, right?

We've got three groups of Photo of the Week this week cause I've been slacking. Sorry, guys, but a paying gig's gotta take precedence. So get on over to the polls and vote! This week's submissions are awesome, so I'm betting it's gonna be real close!

We're working on a contest! We've got a theme poll up and we're looking for suggestions of how you think it should be run. So leave any ideas for rules and such on the poll or in comments for this journal.

And last, but not least, I know the deadline has passed but I'd love some extra suggestions for the monthly feature. This month, as long as it's a waterscape, anything goes. It can be a member, a non-member, in our gallery, out of our gallery... Water is all it needs to qualify. And you're more than welcome to send another one if you've already sent one. Help us out!!!
